Welcome to my official website. I am Er. Subash Chandra Baral, a civil engineer, hydropower innovator, and passionate leader in Nepal’s engineering community. With over 15 years of experience in the hydropower sector, I have dedicated my career to driving clean energy projects that contribute to Nepal’s sustainable development and energy independence.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 1996 - 2000
I completed my undergraduate studies at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus.
Master's Degree in Water Resources Engineering
- 2008 - 2010
I pursued my Master’s degree at the same prestigious institution, specializing in water resources engineering.
Founded Technoquarry Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
- 2010
I established Technoquarry Consultancy, focusing on hydropower and water resources projects.
Director at Samyukta Urja Pvt. Ltd
- 2013 - Present
I took on a leadership role at Samyukta Urja, where I have been responsible for overseeing the Thulo Khola Hydropower Project, a 21.3 MW initiative in the Myagdi District.
Director at Om Shakti Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd.
- 2014 - Present
I expanded my influence in the engineering sector by becoming a director at Om Shakti Engineering.
Chairman at Nepal Hydro Venture Pvt. Ltd.
- 2015 - Present
I assumed the role of Chairman, leading the development of the Tamor Khola Hydropower Project, a 43 MW project in Taplejung.
Director at Chitwan Energy Ltd.

I played a key role in managing the Lower Thulo Khola Hydropower Project, a 4.75 MW project in Myagdi.
Candidacy for NEA President

Leveraging my extensive experience and passion for clean energy, I announced my candidacy for the position of President in the 34th Central Executive Committee Election of the Nepal Engineers Association (NEA).
